Malaysia was the only country from Southeast Asian that sent some of its badminton players at the 2022 Odisha Open held in Cuttack, India from January 25 to 30.
The duo of Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub Azriyn and Khim Wah Lim won the men's doubles title. They defeated host's Ravikrishna PS and Sankar Prasad Udayakumar in the finals, 18,-21, 21-14 & 21-16.
The tournament was dominated by host India as most of the competitors were Indians.
