2nd SEA Deaf Games - Jakarta 2025

 

 

The 2nd edition of the Southeast Asia Deaf Games or SEA Deaf Games will take place from August 20 to 26, 2025 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

 

The theme of the 2nd SEA Deaf Games is "Winning Through Unity".

 

The games will feature six (6) sports. These sports are athletics, badminton, bowling, futsal, table tennis and chess.

Emblem 

 

Red symbolizes the country of Indonesia and supports victory in the world of sports.

The green color symbolizes the empowerment of Deaf athletes to develop and unite throughout Indonesia, Asia and internationally. Apart from that, Indonesia has natural wealth.

Brown colour has an Indonesian identity, namely a work of art in the form of Batik which has become world famous. Brown is a symbol of the color of fertile clay so it is hoped that it can evoke feelings of happiness, humility, simplicity and a down-to-earth nature.

Futsal at the 1st ASEAN Deaf Games

Host Malaysia captured the gold medal for the men's futsal at the inaugural edition of the ASEAN Deaf Games. They are folloed by Indonesia and Thailand who settled for silver and bronze medals respectively. Below are the photos of all the winners. 

 

In the women's side, Thailand won the gold medal while Indonesia settled for silver medal. Host Malaysia completed the podium taking the bronze medal.
