Final Medal Tally for SEA Nations

 

Team Thailand bags 4 gold medals to top among Southeast Asian nations that competed in the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, United States. Most of its medal came from Muaythai and ju-jitsu events.

 

Indonesia came second with two gold medals from sport climbing and wushu events. 

Meanwhile, Cambodia and Brunei who sent only two athletes each had a very successful campaign. All of their athletes won medal in their respective events - Brunei in wushu while Cambodia in Petanque.

 

This is the most successful edition of World Games by our Southeast Asian nations.

 

Laos, Myanmar and Timor Leste has no record of participation based on the official website.

 

At the end of the games, Germany with 24 gold medals topped the overall medal tally followed by host United States (16 golds) and finishing in 3rd place is Ukraine with 16 gold medals too.
