Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz of the Philippines ruled the women's 59kg category at the 2020 Eleiko Email International Lifters Tournament last week.
Diaz lifted a total weight of 216 kilograms. She lifted 95 kg in the snatch discipline and 121 kg in the clean & jerk discipline.
Diaz is a 2019 Southeast Asian Games gold medalist and hopes to qualify for the 3rd time in the upcoming Tokyo Olympics which was rescheduled next year.
Aside from Diaz, Singaporean weightlifter also participated in the tournament.
