1st World Youth Martial Arts Masterships 2017

The 1st World Youth Martial Arts Masterships was successfully held in Jincheon-County, Chungcheongbuk-do Province, South Korea. The games started on the 3rd of November.

Host South Korea topped the medal tally of the games which closed last November 7 with 58 gold, 45 silver and 39 bronze medals. 

Philippines led Southeast Asian nations by placing second overall with 6 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. 

Other Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand placed 6th overall (3-1-2), 2017 SEA Games overall champion Malaysia came 8th place (2-3-0), Vietnam in 9th place (2-2-3) and Singapore (0-1-1).

The competition was participated by more than 600 athletes from 30 countries with theme "A Global Festival for Young Martial Artists".
