The 25-year old swimmer is a medalist in the Southeast Asian Games winning bronze medals in the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia in butterfly events.
The California born Hatch who earlier announced his retirement in 2021, was tapped to fill in the Philippines’ universality quota in swimming alongside Kayla Sanchez for the Paris Olympics.
He will compete in the 100 meter butterfly which is scheduled on August 2, at around 5 p.m. (Manila time).
