Team Philippines šŸ‡µšŸ‡­ | Kayla Sanchez


 
The 23-year old  Filipino-Canadian swimmer is a former member of the Canadian national team until 2022. She has represented Canada at the Olympics and World championships. She has switched federations and now part of Philippine Swimming team.
 
Sanchez won two medals at the 2020 Olympics including the silver medal as part of the Canadian team in the 4x100 m freestyle relay. Representing Philippines, she competed in the Asian Games and in the World Aquatics Championships 2024in Doha.
 
Sanchez will compete in the women's 100 freestyle in Paris Olympics on July 31, at around 3 a.m. (GMT+8).
