The Philippine women's national volleyball team will once again train abroad before they battle at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia. The team is scheduled to depart for Himeji, Japan on April 13 to undergo an intensive training camp.

In April 2022, the women's team trained in Brazil prior to the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam and ended up in 4th place behind Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.

Team Philippines is grouped in Pool B with silver medalist Vietnam along with Singapore and host Cambodia. 2021 SEA Games medalist Thailand will join bronze medalist Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar in Pool A.

The volleyball competition is scheduled to start on May 3 at the Morodok Techo Elephant Hall, days before the formal opening ceremony of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games.

Meanwhile, its male counterpart is already in Japan for training and tune-up games.
