The 16-woman team that will represent the Philippines for the 31st Southeast Asian Games indoor volleyball has been revealed with mixed of new and veteran SEA Games campaigners.
The squad (below) will be guided by Brazilian coach Jorge Edson Souza de Brito and will have a extensive training camp in Brazil after a local league that will end on mid-April.
Meanwhile, no changes were made to all other SEA Games volleyball squads including the beach volleyballs teams which will train in Australia. The team will have a two-week training camp and will play in one or two tournaments as tune-up for the biennial meet. The team fly to Brisbane last March 15, Tuesday.
As for the men's indoor volleyball team, they will fly to Qatar on March 20 to start their tune up games with Qatar men's volleyball clubs.
At the 2019 SEA Games, Philippine men's indoor volleyball clinched the silver medal while the beach volleyball teams bagged bronze medals.
