Good Start for SEA Badminton Players

Southeast Asian badminton players started the 2022 with high caliber performances as they captured three (3) event titles among the five events at the 2022 Yoner-Sunrise India Open. 
 
Thailand and Singapore were the biggest winners of the tournament. Thailand captured the women's singles event title courtesy of Busanan Ongbamrungphan beating her compatriot Supanida Katethong in the finals. They also won the women's doubles care of Benyapa Aimsaard and partner Nuntakarn Aimsaard.

Singapore also proved that  they are no longer for experience-purpose tourney but they can even win the event. Singapore won the mixed doubles event courtesy of HEE Yong Kai Terry & TAN Wei Han defeating Malaysia's Chen Tang Jie and Peck Yen Wei, 21-15, 21-18

The tournament was held in New Delhi, India from the 11th of January to the 16th.
