This Tokyo Olympics 2020, Singapore will be bannered by 23 athletes including the six Olympians who competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics. These are Joseph Schooling who brought home the historical first Olympic gold medal for Singapore. Other Rio Olympians are siblings Quah Zheng Wen and Quah Ting Wen (swimming), Amanda Ng (sailing) and Feng Tianwei and Mengyu Yu (table tennis).

Singapore's youngest competitor is Amita Berthier (fencing) at the age of 20 while the most senior of team Singapore is Feng Tianwei, 34. The average age of Singapore for this year's Olympiad is 25. 

With seventeen (17) female and six (6) male athletes, Singapore will compete in 12 sports. Table tennis has the most number of qualified athletes with four (4). The team is entered in 25 events with Quah Zheng Wen entered in 3 swimming events.

Front runners for team Singapore are: Quah Zheng Wen & Joseph Schooling of swimming and table tennis' Feng Tianwei, Mengyu Yu and Ye Lin. Amita Berthier of fencing is also favorite for medal podium.
