SEA Games 2019 News 080: Myanmar to compete in 30 Sports


Myanmar is planning to compete in 30 sports at the forthcoming Southeast Asian Games that will be hosted by the Philippines this November.

Of the 30 sports, fourteen sports are already identified and chosen to be participated by Myanmar contingent and the remaining will be determined in the coming weeks.  

So far, more than 700 athletes are training for the 30th SEA Games that will be held in different cluster venues such as Metro Manila and Subic.

Myanmar national athletes are now extensively training in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw.

Myanmar is only targeting 10 gold medals in Southeast Asian Games 2019.
