The 1st International Mind Sports Association (IMSA) World Masters Championship 2019 was held in Hengshui, China from the 13th to 18th of May 2019.
The event includes 5 sports - bridge, chess, draughts, go, and xiangqi with 170 players from 36 countries competing in 17 disciplines.
Southeast Asian countries that participated at the event were Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.
Only Vietnam won medals courtesy of Nguyen Hoang Yen in women's xiangqi and Le Quang Liem in men's rapid chess event. Both players won silver medal.
