Kickboxing will also debut at the upcoming 2019 SEA Games, officially known as the 30th Southeast Asian Games and commonly is a regional multi-sport event that will take place in the Philippines in November and December 2019.
This sport will be among the 56 sports approved to be contested by the 11-nation sportsfest.
The eight kickboxing events in the 30th SEA Games are the men’s -51kg and -57kg full contact, -54kg, -60kg and -63.5kg low kick and -67kg kick light, women’s -48kg full contact and -52kg kick light.Thailand is expected to dominate the event as well as the host country, the Philippines at the biennial meet.
