The 2018 Chinese Handball Association Beach Handball Invitation Championship was held in Weihai, Shandong Province from June 25 to 28.
Vietnam and the Philippines were among the teams who competed at the tournament.
Vietnam women's and men's teams made it to the podium by clinching silver medals.
The Vietnam men's were trounced by the Dream team composed of mixture of national team players from the USA, Brazil, Uruguay, Australia, Hungary and Croatia.
Meanwhile, the 10-man Philippine team ended its campaign after reaching the men's semi finals. They were defeated by the Dream Team in a top crossed over semi finals.
Team Philippines got a 4-2 Win-Loss record at the end of the competition.
The championship was also the national championship for China and has brought together 25 teams from around the world.
