🏐 CEZA and First Cagayan Beach Volleyball Republic International Santa Ana Open 2018

Malaysia and Philippines dominate the CEZA and First Cagayan Beach Volleyball Republic International Santa Ana Open 2018 which was held in Cagayan in the Philippines from June 9 to 10.

Lot Catubag and Karen Quilario of Davao (Philippines) won in the women's event after beating Demontaño and Jackie Estoquia in the all Filipino final event.

Meanwhile, Malaysians Raja Nazmi Hussin and Mohd Aizzat Zokri captures the men's title after defeating local bet Kevin Juban and Raphy Abanto of University of the Visayas (Philippines) to claim $3,500 top prize.
Jade Becaldo and Calvin Sarte took the bronze medal beating the team from Czech Republic.

Other than host Philippines and Malaysia, teams from Singapore, Czech Republic and Hong Kong participated at the two-day event.

  • Semi Finals: Kevin Juban and Raphy Abanto (University of the Visayas-Philippines) beat Jade Becaldo and Calvin Sarte (Philippines) 21-18, 22-20
  • Finals: Raja Nazmi Hussin and Mohd Aizzat Zokri (Malaysia) beat Kevin Juban and Raphy Abanto (University of the Visayas-Philippines)

  • Semi Finals: DM Demontaño and Estoquia (Iloilo-Philippines) beat Therese Ramas and Dij Rodriguez (Cebu-Philippines) 21-16, 21-19
  • Finals: Lot Catubag and Karen Quilario (Davao-Philippines) beat DM Demontaño and Jackie Estoquia (Iloilo-Philippines) 21-14, 21-14
