🏐 Anchor International Beach Volleyball Carnival Phnom Penh 2018

The Anchor International Beach Volleyball Carnival Phnom Penh 2018 is being held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from May 4 to 6. 

Three teams from Southeast Asia are competing at this competition. These are as follows: 

• Pronsuda/Yodsaphat (THA)
• Tangkaeo/Chanthira (THA)
• Shu Woon/Jessie (MAS)

In the qualification round, Shu Woon/Jessie of Malaysia was defeated by Germany's Seeber and Fröhlich, 10-21, 6-21. The defeat of Malaysia halted them from advancing to the main draw. 

Also in the qualification event, Thailand's duo of Tangkaeo and Chanthira was eliminated by Swedish tandem of Ogren and Wahlén, 17-21, 15-21. 

Only Pronsuda and Yodsaphat advance to the main draw after beating .

In the main draw, Pronsuda and Yodsaphat of Thailand was defeated by Andriukaityte/Zobnina of Lithuania in Pool F, 19-21, 21-17 and 15-10. 

Their last match in Pool F was against Poland's Kloda and Ceynowa and marked their first win scoring, 21-19 and 21-17.

Unfortunately, team Thailand was unable to advance for the next round of the competition.
