🔫 FISU World University Shooting Sport Championships 2018

The FISU World University Shooting Sport Championships 2018 was held at National Shooting Range, Subang in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from March 14 to 18.

Southeast Asian countries like Singapore, Thailand and host Malaysia participated at the event.

Joining the medal board was Thailand winning a gold in the individual event while Malaysia produced two bronze medals in team and individual events.

Singapore on the other hand failed to win a medal.

Winning gold medal for Thailand is Isarapa Imprasertsuk in the women's skeet while Malaysia's Eddy Chew won bronze medal in the men's 10m air pistol who garnered 217.8. 

Malaysia also won bronze in the women's 10m Air Pistol team event.
The team is composed of Nik Nur Nabilah Syahidah Nik Nor Rosdi, Aida Amirah Mohd Sheriff and Cuili Siau. They are behind South Korea and China who won the gold and silver medals respectively.

Italy is the big winner of the event collecting 11 medals including 5 gold medals. 

The event was participated by 24 countries around the world.
