The 3-Cushions Team World Championships was held in Viersen, Germany from February 22 to 24.Vietnam team composed of world's no.10 Nguyen Quoc Nguyen and world no. 16 Tran Quyet Chien were among the top 16 teams that competed at this tournament.Team Vietnam were in Group C along with Denmark, Greece and defending champion Korea.Below were the results of team Vietnam against rival teams in Group C.

- Vietnam 40:25 Greece
With 1 win and two defeats in Group stage, Vietnam failed to advance in the quarter finals while Korea and Denmark went to battle in the quarters.The event ended with Korean team of Sung Won Choi and Dong Koong Kang taking the 2018 world team championships beating team Austria in the finals. They took home US$9,800 as prize.
