1932 Summer Olympics


The 1932 Summer Olympics was held in Los Angeles, United States from July 30 to August 14 with 117 events in 14 sports.

Thirty-seven (37) nations participated at this edition of Summer Olympics. Among these nations was the lone representative from Southeast Asia - the Philippines. 

The Philippines sent 8 athletes in 3 sports and was able to collect three Olympic medals at this edition.

To date, this was the only Olympic edition where the Philippines won more than one medal.
