🥋 1st Sanda Asian Cup 2017


The 1st Sanda Asian Cupwas held at Guangzhou, China from December 15 to December 16.

The two-day competition attracted martial artists from around Asia competing in 11weight categories for men and six divisions for women.

The Philippines and Vietnam are the big winners from Southeast Asia.

The gold medalists were awarded 1,500 USD each.

Below are the successful wushu athletes at this tournament.

  • Gold | Arnel Mandal - Men’s 52kg
  • Gold | Divine Wally - Women’s 48kg
  • Silver | Hergie Bacyadan - Men's 65kg
  • Bronze | Clemente Tabugara Jr.- Men’s 65kg
  • Bronze | Carlos Baylon -  Men's 56kg

Vietnam
  • Gold | Chu Thị Thuy Hang - Women’s 55kg
  • Gold | Nguyen Thi Trang - Women’s 60kg
  • Gold | Ngo Tien Tuan - Men’s 48kg
  • Gold | To Van Bau - Men’s 56kg.
