Host Malaysia captured two titles at the recently concluded CELCOM AXIATA Malaysia International Challenge 2017.The tournament which took place in Johor, Malaysia from Novemer 14 to 19 was participated mostly of Southeast Asian countries like powerhouses Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. Vietnam and Singapore also competed at this badminton competition.The 6-day tournament ended with Malaysia taking home the men's singles title courtesy of Iskandar Zulkarnain and men's doubles by the duo of Nur Izzuddin and Sze Fei Goh.Also sharing the winners circle is Indonesian Ruselli Hartawan in the women's singles event.Notice that Vietnam is slowly penetrating the badminton world. Vietnam reached the semi-finals of the men's and women's singles events. While Thailand had only one pair in the finals.Below are the other Southeast Asian players who reached the final four of their respective event.Men's Singles

Mixed Doubles
- 2nd - Yogendran Khrishnan (Malaysia) & Prajakta Sawant (India)
