4th Nissan Open Squash Championships 2017


The 4th Nissan-Philippine Squash Academy (PSA) Open was held at the Palms Country Club courts in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines from November 24 to 26.
The competitors came from countries like Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong and host Philippines.
Philippines' Robert Andrew Garcia won the gold medal in the men's singles after defeating compatriot Valentino Bong.
Garcia was a bronze medalist at the 2017 SEA Games held in Malaysia  and now captured the gold medal for the Philippines before the year ends.
Singapore and Malaysia are squash powerhouse in Southeast Asian region.
