🏑 9th Women's Hockey Asia Cup 2017

The 9th edition of Women's Hockey Asia Cup 2017 was held in Kakamigahara, Gifu, Japan from October 28 to November 5. Eight teams which are divided into two groups contested at this hockey tournament for women.

Southeast Asian powerhouse Malaysia is group along with co-ASEAN team Singapore, China and India in Pool A while host Japan compted against teams from Kazakhstan, South Korea and another Southeast Asian team Thailand
Unfortunately, our Southeast Asian teams did not make it to the medal round. India beat China to claim the championship while host Japan suffered defeat from rival South Korea in the bronze medal match.
