Cambodia will only send 57 athletes to compete in the SEA Games in Thailand, instead of the initial 1,500 athletes. 

The Thai Olympic Committee had a meeting on Monday (August 4) regarding the 33rd Southeast Asian Games. According to report, Thailand will send 2,134 athletes and 652 officials to compete in 50 sports and 574 events. 
 
Meanwhile, Malaysia will send 1,824 athletes, Vietnam with 863, Singapore with 1,973, and Myanmar with 749.
 
Meanwhile, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei and Timor-Leste including Cambodia have requested a two-week extension and are expected to submit their final numbers by September 1.
