Budhidarma, One of Indonesia Chess Players for SEA Games 2025

Nayaka Budhidarma of Indonesia is set to represent the country in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand this coming December. Nayaka recently won in the rapid chess tournament open category at the Ramadhan Cup 2025 held at Wisma Kemenpora, Senayan, Central Jakarta.

Nayaka accumulated a score of 8.5 points, defeating Dzithauly Ramadhan and IM Gilbert Elroy. He also successfully defeated GM Susanto Megaranto in the eighth round.

The event was participated by 452 chess wizards from 22 provinces of Indonesia.
