Malaysia Women's Hockey team Miss Olympic Ticket to Paris

Malaysia's Women's Hockey team ended its Pool B campaign in the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers 2024 in Valencia, Spain with 0W-3L record and bids goodbye to its Olympic dream in Paris, France.  

Malaysia was defeated by host Spain in their first match, 0-7 and another defeat from Canada on the following day, 0-3.

Their last game was against Great Britain that resulted to 1-8 loss. Malaysia will now play for classification round.

The qualifier is being held at the Estadio Beterodi from January 13 to 20 with 8 competing teams divided into two groups where top two teams from each group advancing to semifinals. Only the top 3 teams will qualify to Paris Olympics.
