Rivan Nurmulki, one of the most decorated medalists of Indonesian men's volleyball team was dropped from the initial list of players going to the 19th Asian Games in China.
As per source, there is an ongoing mediation between Rivan and its national federation to smoothen the situation between the two parties.
Also, there were rumors that Rivan is at the early stage of negotiations with club teams in Central Asia where he could possibly play until 2024.
Rivan propels the Indonesian team to get its third consecutive title in the Southeast Asian Games since 2019 and has played with several clubs abroad.
Volleyball fans are hoping that Rivan will be included in the men's national team since there is a mediation going on.
