✹ #AsianGames | Malaysia To Compete with 289 Athletes


 
Malaysia will be represented by 289 athletes and 145 officials that will compete in 22 sports in the 19th Asian Games in China. Out of 483 events to be contested, Malaysia will see action in 141 events.

#TeamMalaysia will compete in Diving, Swimming, Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball 3x3 (Men’s and Women’s), Boxing, Cricket (Men’s and Women’s), Cycling (Track and Road Race), Dragon Boat, Equestrian, Gymnastics (Artistic and Rhythmic), Hockey (Men’s and Women’s), Kabbadi, Martial Arts (Ju-jitsu & Karate), Mind Sport (E-Sport, Go, Xiangqi), Rugby, Sailing, Sepaktakraw, Shooting, Squash, Taekwondo and Wushu.

At the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, Malaysia finished in 14th place in the medal tally with 7 gold medals coming from bowling, cycling, sailing, sepak takraw and squash.
