The UIPM 2023 Southeast Asian (Pentathlon) Championships successful concluded with the Philippines and host Thailand taking home the big wins in this regional event. For instance, Joseph Godbout of the Philippines bagged two gold medals in SEA and Asian categories.
The event took place at the Pattaya Beach in Chonburi, Thailand from May 19 to May 21. Southeast Asian countries that participated in this event were Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and host Thailand.
The event was also participated by non-ASEAN countries such as Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Japan and Hong Kong.
In the last day of competition, Philippines and Thailand reigned the mixed events.
