#SEAGames2023 | Pre-Test Event for Kun Bokator


 
The first Kun Bokator Southeast Asian Championships was held in Phnom Penh as a pre-test event of the said sport for the 32nd Southeast Asian Games this coming May. 

Bokator, an ancient martial art originating from Cambodia, will be featured at the biggest multi-sporting event in the Southeast Asian region for the first time when Cambodia host the Games.
 
At the 1st Kun Bokator SEA Championships, host Cambodia topped the medal tally with a total of 33 medals including the 11 gold medals. Combat events, spirit form and barehand form disciplines were contested at the competition which was held from March 30 to April 3.

Countries such as Vietnam, Philippines and Laos took part of the event and raked medals in this sport.
