Brunei Darussalam will participate in 12 sports at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia this coming May.
Brunei will send 65 athletes mostly composed of male athletes. Brunei who won only one gold medal at the last SEA Games in Vietnam will compete in aquatics-swimming (with 4 male athletes);
athletics (2 males); badminton (four males, two females); billards and
snooker (two males) and e-Sports (five males).
They will also participate in fencing (three males, one
female); karate-do (nine males, three females); obstacle race (five
males); pencak silat (seven males, three females); petanque (five males,
one female); weightlifting; (one male, one female) and wushu (five
males, two females).
Brunei will compete in mixed team event in badminton. This event only allows the participation of Brunei, Laos, Myanmar, Timor Leste and host Cambodia.
Brunei is hoping to win medals in wushu, pencak silat, karate and petanque.
At this SEA Games edition, Brunei will not send team in men's football.
