A total of 558 athletes across 30 sports will represent Singapore in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia. They will also send 26 athletes across six sports in the ASEAN Para Games (APG).
The six sports that they will compete in APG are swimming, athletics, badminton, powerlifting, boccia and table tennis.
Meanwhile, Singapore wrestling team is currently on a 3-week training after its participation at the Asian championships in Kazakhstan which was scheduled from April 9 to 14.
At the 2021 SEA Games in Vietnam, Singapore only managed to win a silver and a bronze medals courtesy of Gary Chow and Timothy Loh respectively. The team is hoping to improve their performance this coming SEA Games in May.
Wrestling competition will be held at Hall E of Chroy Changvar Convention Centre from May 14 to 16.
