Three Southeast Asian countries participated at the 41st Asian Road Cycling Championships 2022 which was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan from March 25 to 29.
Indonesia and Vietnam clinched medals in the women's individual events. Delia Ayustina Priatna finished in second place in the women's elite individual time trial. She clocked 33:59.275 to win the silver medal.
Meanwhile, Vietnam bagged one gold and bronze medals courtesy of Nguyen Thi That and Nguyen Thi Be Hong. Nguyen Thi That won in the women's elite individual road race while Hong finished 3rd in the women's junior individual time trial.
Thailand also competed in the event but did not medal. However, Thailand were successful in para cycling which was concurrently held with 41st Asian Road championships.
