Spain Masters was held at the Palacio de Deportes Carolina Marín in Huelva, Spain from May 18 to May 23 where Indonesia badminton team dominated the event.
In men's doubles event, it was an all-Indonesian finals between the emerged champion of Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan and Pramudya Kusumawardana against runner-up duo of Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani and Sabar Karyaman Gutama.The match ended with 21-15, 18-21 and 21-14 in favor of Rambitan and Pramudya.
Other event winners are Yulfira Barkah and Febby Valencia Dwijayanti Gani in the women's doubles while Rinov Rivaldy and Pitha Haningtyas Mentari came victorious in the mixed doubles event.
In women's singles event, Putri Kusuma Wardani won over Line Christophersen of Denmark, 21-15 and 21-10.
Unfortunately in the men's event, Indonesia came runner-up courtesy of . He was beaten by . It was a french dominated game resulting to 21-15 and 21-17 match.
Malaysia also participated in the tournament but failed to reached the podium.
