2021 FIBA Asia Cup - Qualification

Timeline
  • After SEABA Pre-Qualifier (26th-30th June 2018 | Nonthaburi, Thailand) - qualified teams are Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Brunei and Cambodia did not advance.
  • After Eastern Regional Pre-Qualifer (26th Nov. - 1st Dec. 2018 | Nonthaburi, Thailand) - teams that will advance to next round are Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. Singapore did not advance.
  • Round 1 of FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifier (20th February 2020 - 21st February 2021)
  • Round 2 of FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifier (2021)

For Round 1, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand are in Group A along with South Korea while Malaysia is in Group B together with teams from China, Japan and Taipei.
