Technical delegates from the eleven Southeast Asian Games nations visited the venues and facilities that will be used for the upcoming 30th edition of the Southeast Asian Games to be held in the Philippines.
Among the venues that are being checked are the New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac and Subic, as well as the venues in Metro Manila.
Facilities that will be used for competitions in Metro Manila are being fixed including the 84-year-old Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in the city of Manila.
Venues in the New Clark City such as the NCC Athletic Stadium and the Aquatic Center already held competitions (1st Philippine Swimming Championships) and are being used by aspiring athletes who wants to be included in the final list for SEA Games.
The BMX and skateboarding tracks in Tagaytay City which are 95 percent and 80 percent done were also visited by the delegates.
The 2019 Southeast Asian Games will commence on November 30 but some sports like polo, floorball, netball, water polo and football will start days before the opening ceremony.
