Team Indonesia is keen to get medals in the sport of golf in the upcoming Southeast Asian Games to be held in the Philippines this year.
Golf which is purely dominated by Thai golfers in the last two editions of SEA Games, will be an exciting event as Indonesian opponents have seriously conducted developmental effort to enhance athletes capability with good source of funding.
With Australian coaches, Indonesia has set its medal target of two silver medals and a bronze medal at the 30th SEA Games that will commence on November 30.
But the team is not closing their doors in hope for SEA Games gold medal as they are already training since the Asian Games 2018 and will intensify its program in the month of August.
Team Indonesia will have four friendly matches before the SEA Games 2019 and will go to Philippines to test and adapt the golf courses.
