SEA Games 2019 News 076: Indonesia Prepares 10 Dance Athletes


Dancesport will be back in the upcoming Southeast Asian Games to be held in the Philippines this November after years of hiatus. 

Indonesia prepares its team with an initial 16 dance athletes and then will select 10 athletes for intensive training.

To form the national core team, Dancesport Indonesia Sports Association (IODI) will hold a one-month selection.

Bali was chosen to be the venue of the national training of the selected athletes for dancesports.
 
The last time dancesport was calendared at SEA Games was in 2007 SEA Games in Thailand where only three nations won medals - Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia.

The 2019 SEA Games dancesports competition will be held at the Royce Hotel and Casino in Clark.
