Myanmar has plan to compete in three to five events out of the six events to be contested in e-sports in SEA Games 2019.
E-sports is one of the 56 sports calendared at the 30th Southeast Asian Games to be held in the Philippines which will open on November 30 this year.
Preparation of team Myanmar includes the selection of players to be fielded in events like Dota 2, Mobile Legends and Arena of Valor.
The selection process will begin on May 19 and will end on August 18 with series of seven try-outs and main try-out.
According to Myanmar Times, champion team will be awarded K15 million.
E-sports will be featured for the first at the Southeast Asian Games as a medal sport event.
E-sports in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games is accredited by the Asian Electronic Sports Federation.
