Vietnam is now officially seeded in third group in men's football.
The re-seeding is a result of the submitted proposal of the Vietnam Football Federation and the Vietnam Olympic Committee asking for the rearrangement of the seeding groups due to a scoring error between Vietnam and Singapore.
Vietnam was previously seeded in fourth group according to the organizing board.
After the re-checking, team Vietnam is now seeded in third group along with Myanmar.
Meanwhile, Singapore is now seeded in fourth group along with Laos, Cambodia, Brunei, and Timor-Leste.
Philippines on the hand is seeded in first group along with Thailand while Malaysia and Indonesia are seeded in second group.
Aside from football, Vietnam also plans to compete in 42 other sports from the 56 sports scheduled at the 30th Southeast Asian Games to be held in the Philippines this November.
