SEA Games 2019 News 012: Cambodian Boxers to Train in Japan for SEA Games 2019

Cambodian Boxing Federation has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Japan’s Motohashi Boxing Gym to send fighters to train in Japan as well as offer Japanese coaches to share experience in preparation for the upcoming SEA Games in the Philippines and for the 2023 SEA Games.
In addition to providing technical training, the Japanese side also promised to contribute funds for infrastructure and training materials. On Sunday, $2,000 was donated to replace the infrastructure at the boxing gym of the National Stadium.

Cambodia is preparing to host the 32nd SEA Games in Phnom Penh in 2023, and in some provinces including Kampot, Kep, Takeo, Siem Reap, Battambang, and Kampong Cham.
