The 15th Asian Karate Senior Championships 2018 was held in Amman, Jordan from July 11 to 15.
Our Southeast Asian athletes were among the 293 karatekas from 29 Asian countries that competed in this event. Indonesia with 14 athletes, Malaysia with 10, Philippines under APK2 with 4 athletes, Thailand 12 and Vietnam with 13 athletes.
Japan topped the medal tally board with 8 golds followed by Iran who clinched 4 gold medals.
