Paragliding World Cup 2018

Indonesia and Singapore competed at the 2018 Paragliding Accuracy World Cup (PGWAC) series in Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan last May 6.

Indonesia did not just win but dominate the event.
 
In men's individual category, Indonesian representative Jafro Megawanto collected 11 points to place 3rd overall according to final results. Matjaz Feraric of Slovenia took the top position with 7 points.

In the category of individual women, Indonesia secured the first and second places. Ike Ayu Wulandari finished first with 37 points while Eka Nesti Wulansari garnered 57 points to place second. 

Czech Republic's athlete Ivana Balakova who scored 66 points completes the top 3.

In the team category, Indonesia took all the top three positions - Garuda 1, Garuda 2 and Garuda 3. 

Indonesia will host the 2018 Paragliding Accuracy World Cup - Series 3 on July 13 to 15 in Mount Banyak, Batu City, East Java. The first series was held in Tatlisu, Turkey last February.
