🏀 FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2018

Three Southeast Asian teams participated at the 2018 FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup which was held in Shenzhen, China from April 27 to May 1.

Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand competed in both men and women events.

In Men's qualifying event, Thailand ranked 3rd in Pool 1A while Malaysia placed 5th out of 6 teams in the pool. Unfortunately, both teams failed to advance in the main draw of the event.

In Pool 1B qualifying round, Men's team of Indonesia also failed to go to the main draw as the squad placed 5th in the group.     

In women's division, only team Thailand went thru the qualifying round while teams from Indonesia and Malaysia were already seeded in the main draw.

In the main draw, Indonesia reached the quarter finals but was halted to advance in the semi-finals by much stronger team Australia.
