The 40th Queen Sirikit Cup 2018 was held at Thana City Country Club in Bangkok, Thailand which started May 8 and ended last May 11.
Our Southeast Asian golfers proved that they can outclassed their rivals at this Asia-Pacific Amateur Ladies Golf Team Championship.
Leading our SEA region is the 15-year old Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand who emerged as this year's champion in the individual event.
Next to her were Japan's Yuna Nishimura and Philippines' Yuka Saso to claim the second and third spots respectively.
The other SEA golfer who entered in the top 10 was Harmie Nicole Constatino of the Philippines who placed 9th overall in the ranking.
For the team event, Thailand placed second behind team Korea who snatched the Queen Sirikit Cup 2018.
Thai team was composed of Atthaya Thitikul , Natthakritta Vongtaveelap and Tuntada Piddon.
On the other hand, Yuka Saso, Harmie Nicole Constatino and Mikhaela Denise Fortuna of the Philippines came 4th place behind team Japan who occupied the second place.
Indonesia placed 5th, Malaysia in 9th place, Singapore placed 12th and Myanmar came 13th placer.
