2018 Diving World Series - Kazan, Russia

The Diving World Series 4th leg was held in Kazan, Russia from May 4 to 6. 

On the first day of competition, Malaysia's Cheong Jun Hoong partnered with Pandelela Rinong snatched the bronze medal in the women's 10m platform synchro final among 6 competing teams.

The duo scored 318.54  points behind the divers from China and North Korea who won the gold and silver medals respectively. China scored 324.24 while the Koreans collected 320.58 points.

In the Women's 10m Platform, Pandelela Rinong placed second in the first batch of semi-finals with the score of 356.75.  The top three of both semi finals advance for the finals.

Unfortunately in the final event, Pandelela placed 6th and did not medal for this event. She just only scored 318.65 points. Qian of China won the event with 389.10 points.

The last day of the competition saw Nur Dhabitah Binti Sabri in the Women's 3m Springboard semi final event. She scored 320.10 points and advanced  her in the finals. 

But sadly in the finals, she also placed last among the 6 finalists with a total collected points of 294.60. Tingmao of China won the gold medal. 

At the end of the 4th leg of this diving world tour, Malaysia did not end empty handed and will bring home a lone bronze medal.
