🥋 Junior World Pencak Silat Championships 2018


The World Junior Pencak Silat Championship was held in Songkhla, Thailand from April 23 to 28 with 18 countries which drew participants aged 14 to 17.

Seven Southeast Asian nations made it to the medal board with host Thailand notching the top.

Below are the some medalists from Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia.

Singapore
  • Gold - Muhammad Hazim Mohd Yusli  (Men's Class D) 
  • Gold - Muhammad Syahiran Jeffry (Men's Class J)
  • Gold - Muhammad Syakir Jeffry (Men's Class K)
  • Gold - Nurul Irbah Muhd Razali (Women's Class B)
  • Gold - Nurzianah Mohd Yazid (Women's Artistic Singles)

Malaysia
  • Silver - Muhammad Haziq Aziman (Men's Class D)  

Philippines
  • Silver - Jerome Negapatan and Harold Ralph Ungaya (Men's Seni Ganda - Double)
  • Silver - Jerome Negapatan, Harold Ralph Ungaya and Tyronne Bernardo (Men's Regu - Group)
  • Bronze - Hannah Seins Leaño, Raven Carandang, Cris Ann Jelyn Magtagad. Enhorabuena (Women's Regu - Group)
