2018 Diving World Series - Montreal, Canada

The Diving World Series third leg is being held in Montreal, Canada from April 27 to 29. 

On the first day of competition, Malaysia's Cheong Jun Hoong partnered with Pandelela Rinong clinched the gold medal in the women's 10m platform synchro final. 

The duo accumulated a total score of 322.74 beating the teams from North Korea and China who received the silver and bronze medals respectively.

In the other event, Mun Yee Leong and  Nur Dhabitah Binti Sabri failed to medal in the women's 3m springboard synchro with a total points of 256.20 and placed last among the six competing teams.
On the second day of this series,  Pandelela Rinong placed 4th in the finals of the Women's 10m Platform event with a total score of 343.15 while Cheong Jun Hoong placed 6th with 298.70 points.

The last day of the competition saw Nur Dhabitah Binti Sabri in the Women's 3m Springboard semi final event. Unfortunately, her total score of 291.70 placed her in 4th which is not enough to qualify for the medal round who qualifies only the top 3 finishers. 
Malaysia is the current powerhouse country in diving in Southeast Asia.
