Diving World Series - Fuji, Japan

The Diving World Series second leg was held in Fuji, Japan from March 15 to 17.

Malaysia's Cheong Jun Hoong partnered with Pandelela Rinong clinched the bronze in the women's 10m platform synchro final. 

The duo scored 310.32 points behind China and North Korea who got the gold and silver medals respectively.

The two divers also competed in the women's 10m platform but did not advance in the next round.

Meanwhile, Nur Dhabitah Binti competed in the semi finals of the women's 3m springboard scoring 288.75 points but failed to advance in the finals.

Nur Dhabitah Binti also competed in the women's 3m springboard synchro partnered with Mun Yee Leong who scored a total of 253.14 points in the finals.

The tandem placed last among 6 competitors.

Malaysia is the current powerhouse country in diving in Southeast Asia.
